What is Gold Vermeil?

Gold vermeil (pronounced “ver-may”) is a term used to describe sterling silver metal that has been plated with gold. To be considered gold vermeil the base metal must be sterling silver and the gold must be at least 10ct, and around 1.5 microns thick.

What are the benefits of Gold Vermeil?

Gold vermeil is a fantastic metal because whilst it is closely comparable in appearance to solid gold, it is significantly more affordable and is still of high quality. Gold vermeil jewellery is also safe for people with nickel allergies or sensitivity to other metals.

Are your stones real?

Yes. All the stones that we use are semi–precious gemstones. For further information on the stones we use please visit our Gemstone section.

What are your engraving charges?

Our Sienna Disc Necklaces are available to be engraved with an initial on the front and date on the back. The charge for engraving is £15 for each side. Designs can be ordered through the website and you can choose how many sides you would like engraved. Please note the delivery times for these designs and that designs with engraving are non–refundable.

Can designs other than those stated on your website be engraved?

Yes. If there is a particular design that you would like to engrave please email and we would be happy to advise whether it will be possible, delivery time and cost.

How do I know what ring size I am?

For guidance on how to measure your ring size, please refer to our Ring Size Guide, which will give you all the information you need.

What length are your necklaces?

The standard length of our necklaces is 18” unless otherwise stated in the product details.

Do you do different ring/bracelet/necklace sizes to the ones stated on your website?

Yes. If you would like to purchase an item in a different length, then please get in touch via and we will be more than happy to advise you. Designs made to a specific length may incur a charge that will depend on the length required.


Do you have jewellery available with a birthstone for every month?

Since our designs are set with semi-precious gemstones we do not have a birthstone available for every month. However, we have suggested the perfect alternative based on the colour quality for each stone and the similarity this has to the standard birthstone for that month. The suggestions are based on our personal recommendations. Please refer to the table below.

Month Traditional Birthstone Our Recommendation
January Garnet Garnet is the gemstone for January and beautiful Rhodolite is the purplish–red to intense pink variety of this gemstone family. It is also said to represent friendship and bring the wearer luck.
February Amethyst From delicate pale lilac to rich and intense purple, Amethyst is said to be the calming and balancing stone from the quartz family and is the traditional birthstone for February.
March Aquamarine With its beautiful and elegant blue colour, Blue Topaz is our suggestion for the perfect alternative to Aquamarine, which is the traditional Birthstone for March.
April Diamond Diamond is the traditional Birthstone for April and we think the perfect alternative would be versatile Rock Crystal, which is the clear variety of quartz, and like diamonds, can be worn with everything!
May Emerald Emerald is the traditional Birthstone for springtime May, but Chrysoprase is our beautiful alternative choice with its unique green colour.
June Pearl Timeless and everlasting, the Pearl is the traditional birthstone for June and due to its classic nature and versatility is considered to be one of the leading ladies of jewellery.
July Ruby With its purplish-red to intense pink colour, we think Rhodolite is the perfect colour match for Ruby and is our alternative to the traditional July Birthstone.
August Peridot This beautiful golden green gemstone is the traditional birthstone for August.
September Sapphire Sapphire is the traditional Birthstone for September and we recommend Iolite as the perfect alternative. Its violet blue colour makes it a perfect match.
October Opal Given Labradorite’s unique iridescent colour qualities, we recommend it as the beautiful alternative to the traditional Birthstone for October,which is Opal.
November Citrine This popular gemstone with colours from pale lemon to deep brown and amber is the traditional birthstone for November.
December Topaz The most elegant member of the topaz family is beautiful Blue Topaz, the perfect birthstone for this special month.


Do you offer a bespoke service?

Do you do Wedding Rings?

It is always lovely to hear that you might be considering any of our designs for your wedding ring and we are pleased to let you know that any of our designs are available to be specially made in either solid 18ct Yellow, Rose or White Gold and Platinum.

Do you offer your designs in solid gold?

Yes, all our designs can be made specially for you in solid 9ct or 18ct gold. If you would like further information, delivery time and prices then please get in touch via e-mail or call +44 (0) 20 3397 8402.

Product Guarantee

Do you have a Product Guarantee?

Yes. We are pleased to inform you that designs purchased through are guaranteed for up to 6 months from date of purchase, subject to the care that has been taken of the item(s).

If there is evidence that the item(s) have been damaged through no fault of the design, have not been cared for as per our Jewellery Care guidance or the damage is not due to a manufacturer defect then there will be a charge for the repair. Please email or call +44 (0) 20 3397 8402 and we can advise how to proceed.

Repairs for items purchased through one of our stockists must be returned to them and are not covered by this guarantee.

Do you offer a re-plating service?

Please see our Jewellery Care section for guidance as to how to best care for your jewellery.

We offer a re-plating service should you wish to re-plate any designs. Please email or call +44 (0) 20 3397 8402 for further information.

Please note that our re-plating service can take up to 4 – 6 weeks.

Do you offer a Repairs Service?

The quality of our jewellery is extremely important to us – there will be no charge for repairs that are caused by manufacturer defect within the guarantee period of 6 months and all repairs are assessed on an individual basis. Outside of this period we do offer a repairs service at an additional cost.
