Chrysoprase – one of the more vibrant varieties of the Chalcedony quartz stones – never fails to catch people’s attention with its bright apple green colours. Interestingly, it is the nickel impurities that give this stone such a statement edge, and without those impurities, it would appear as a clear quartz stone.

The term Chysoprase originates from the Greeks, and translates as gold ‘crusos’ leek ‘prason’, both of which are echoed through its striking colour. And the reason why we love it so much is because Chrysoprase can be worn on an everyday basis, but it can also add an exciting sharpness to any outfit, at any occasion.
